STEVEN T.We had an amazing experience at the Castle! Exploring the world of whiskey can indeed be a fascinating journey and this place lets us do it from our own hometown. The Whiskey Crusaders and the Castle have so much to choose from and the knowledge of each pour is more than I could ever imagine. Whether it’s understanding the nuances of flavor, aroma, or the overall experience, learning about whiskey can be a delightful and enriching experience. All of this from a place here in the DFW area and scheduled via appointment only so that means you can really enjoy your time and not deal with fumbling idiots or overly loud music.
This isn’t your boring college class, you’ll want to learn here every day. Learning about whiskey sounded strange, but the Whiskey Crusaders helped me understand how to truly taste, smell, and enjoy whiskey like I’d never done before. I’ll definitely be returning.

The Whiskey Crusaders Whiskey Castle is an unparalleled experience that one must see to believe. The selection is second to none and the concept of not just learning, but fully experiencing 8 different whiskies during a class can’t be beat. Matt and Erik’s knowledge reveals itself like the best of whiskies. It’s great upon first experience but the further you dive in the more you learn and develop as a connoisseur yourself. You can tell it’s not just a job for them but a passion. They love the entirety of the whiskey making process and can expound on everything from the terroir, the history of the bottle you’re drinking from to the molecular level of why a whisky tastes a certain way. And if all that’s too much for you, they are more than happy to just pull up a chair and have a good chat about life over a great dram. If you call yourself a whiskey nerd, connoisseur, collector, aficionado or just want to learn more about the incredible world of whiskey, you need to make an intentional effort to experience the Whiskey Crusaders Whiskey Castle.
