Join the Whiskey Crusaders for an exceptional evening with Aberfeldy Single Malt Scotch and one of the great personalities in the whisky world, Gareth Howells.

Often described as an “ambassador’s ambassador,” Gareth brings tremendous whisky knowledge, storytelling, humor, and hospitality to every room he enters. He currently represents Bacardi’s single malt whisky portfolio in North America, and this will be a fantastic opportunity to spend an evening tasting alongside someone who knows these whiskies inside and out.

🥃 The Golden Dram

Founded in 1898 by John Alexander and Tommy Dewar, Aberfeldy Distillery was built in the Scottish Highlands near the birthplace of their father, John Dewar. The distillery was created to produce the heart malt for Dewar’s blends, but Aberfeldy eventually developed a following of its own for its rich, fruity and distinctly honeyed style.

Known as “The Golden Dram,” Aberfeldy draws its water from the Pitilie Burn, a water source famous for deposits of alluvial gold. Longer fermentation, traditional copper pot distillation and maturation in carefully selected oak help create Aberfeldy’s signature honeyed richness.

For this masterclass, we’re going far beyond the standard lineup with nine Aberfeldy expressions, ranging from the classic 12 Year all the way to an incredible 26 Year Exceptional Cask, along with several special wine-cask expressions.
